Kevin Brownlow is the best author of film History. His style is easy, conversational, humourous & impeccably researched.
Winstanley: Warts & All is a very personal book because it deals with the film Winstanley (1975), that he Co-Directed with Andrew Mollo.
The book is testament to low budget independent filmmaking & goes into great detail about the toils & hard work necessary to make a movie on a shoestring.
Anyone that has seen Winstanley will agree that it is a Classic of British Cinema. Winstanley: Warts & All is essential reading for any movie fan.
