What's the point? - By: , 11 Oct 2008
Admittedly I read New Moon before Twilight, but that wasn't my fault. I came to love the series of books, begging my mum (I'm only 13) to buy me each book practically as soon as it came out. Yet Breaking Dawn came as a disappointment.

The first two booksin Breaking Dawn I enjoyed, yet when Bella opened her eyes to immortality I was a little disappointed. Where was the main excitementin it? Renesmee is fine & dandy, Jacob is staying with the Cullens for as long as he lives, & Bella has exceptional self-control, so she can still see Charlie. And as for the 'fight' with the Volturi, where was the grand battle? Where was the bloodshed? They just ran away with their tailsin between their legs.

I found that everything was too fine & dandy, all happy & jolly. It was almost definitely rushed, likein the moments before class starts & you haven't completed the homework. Whether this was Stephenie Meyer's fault or ATOM's it doesn't matter. The book was definitely ended wrong.

I want another book - one that ends not all jolly & joyful but on a sad note, one where someone dies. Whether it be Bella, Charlie, Jacob or Renesmee, I want some form of carnage.
WOW! - By: Mrs. S. D. Williams, 10 Oct 2008
This is the 4th & final bookin the Twilight series & it was not a disappointment, apart from the fact that there are no more booksin the series. I am so sad to say goodbye to the main characters, Bella, Edward & Jacob because they were describedin such a way that I felt they were a part of my circle of friends.

I loved this book but had to keep reminding myself that it was fiction, it was supernatural & as such, ANYTHING CAN happen, & it does!

I loved the whole story from begining to end & I am not going to describe what happens - you can read the synopsis for that. I loved the romance, the intrigue & the brewing fight..... I really did not know what to expect at each turn of the page.

An exciting read!

Really cute.... - By: Tee-ola F., 07 Oct 2008
Frankly, I dont know what you haters are going on about. For me I think I have to say book 4 was The Climax for me. A beautiful happy ending book. Honestly didnt want to put it down & didn't want it to end!!
Loved the way we had a little bit of prespective from Jacob's point, that was cool, wish Meyer could have done the same for Edward as well...
Allin all a lovely end to the Bella, Edward & Jacob saga. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
I don't understand what the big problem is - I loved it! - By: Angela, 06 Oct 2008
Although my favourite bookin the series is probably Eclipse, I still really enjoyed Breaking Dawn & thought it came to a conclusion that the majority of readers will be satisfied with. I think there would have been more uproar if it had gone any other way!

I was completely engrossed & didn't put the book down till it was finished. I really don't see how it could have gone any other way - unless fans wanted to see 90% of the characters they love be destroyedin a blood thirsty ending that really doesn't fit with the tone of the rest of the books!
Was it worth waiting for? - By: Pipsicle, 04 Oct 2008
The answer is definitely yes! Be warned, once you start reading it you'll want to keep going until the end & then you'll wish you read it more slowly.
