I've read more INSPIRING, LOGICAL, ETHICAL SHOPPING LISTS! - By: HelpfulMan, 27 Nov 2008
The Cosmic Ordering Guide: Where Dreams Can Become Reality has to be the most poorly written, uninformative hotchpotch ever to achieve so many five star ratings. Indeed, I based my decision to purchase this book, being interestedin Cosmic Ordering, on the number of favorable reviews on Amazon.
I can only assume one of two things is happening here. The first I can readily discuss: that my faculty for discerning when A BOOK IS OF ANY VALUE whatsoever has completely deserted me.
The author freely admits to having published pamphlets on how to win the lottery & how to look youthful. To my mind this book fits nicely into this mould & given the extraordinary number of favourable reviews I'm sure the author & his own imprint MIRAGE PUBLISHING are doing very well out of it. Another title by the author, Stephen Richards, & publisher of this book, is INTERNET DATING. I bet that's a hoot too!
For an idea of the overall quality of the book, the big finish is the reproduction of some Ladbrokes betting slips, which 'prove' that it all works. How you actually do this ordering is anyone's guess, as the book is about as watertight & cohesive as a colander. I would welcome a lucid & intelligent debate about this with any of the many(?) favourable reviewers. Don't waste you money on this book!
Positively uplifting - By: Marshmallow, 19 Oct 2008
After spending a considerable amount of time following what has become known as "The Law of Attraction" & reading the Esther Hicks series of books on that subject (The Law of Attraction), I am now quite swayedin the direction of cosmic ordering.
The Cosmic Ordering Guide: Where Dreams Can Become Reality is not just a book that you just read for the sake of reading another one of those self-improvement books. No! It is a book that you infuse with yourself, a book that become so powerfully uplifting that you just want to gobble up all of the info as fast as possible so that you can start putting it to use.
As I was reading this, I became pleasantly aware of how different it was to any other discipline within the self-improvement genre of books. One could so easily be swayed into comparing it to the other disciplines of "get rich quick" books. This is as far removed from the diluted versions of "get rich quick" books out there as banking is from gardening - there is just no comparison.
With the likes of, for instance, McKenna's spin on this subjectin I Can Make You Rich (Book & CD), quite obviously that genre of title uses commercial marketing ploys to get you to part with your money, thus making the subject matter seem almost cosy-like. Yet the content of those types of books fail miserably to deliver anything other than the use of thoughtin making your dreams come true, it is all just about visualisation techniques.
If you are expecting another one of those "visualisation technique" books with this one, you will be supremely surprise at how different it is, & how it guides you to make an actual connection with the cosmos! All leading up to the "Big Bang", which is the moment, the author says, you connect to the cosmos to place your cosmic order/s. Although the author does say that this "big bang" may not happen for everyone, & even if it does not then you will still be connecting. This is where this book differs by a million miles from the rather boring pile that is steadily amassing into a mountain of wasted paper. This book is bold enough to show you the way & to actually explainin an easy to understand way that is very informative & easy to follow.
The no frills & straight talking way of the author is so refreshing from how some other authors hold a very pompous view of their chosen subject. Here you are told of the author's own failures & how he secured all of his own millions by sole use of his own techniques. This is what endears you to the author, to know how he went through the same as most of his aspiring readers are going through, the hell of having nothing to the sublime of having it all, & as the author says, "All through cosmic ordering."
My own experience of using this book has been very rewarding & I now consider myself a true believer of this subject. To the reader just reading this book for the sake of adding another one to the collection, I would say that reading it is not enough, you have to actually put into action what is within it. Reading this book will not do anything for the reader. Anyone expecting to find the pot of gold at the end page will find himself or herself disappointed, as that only happensin films. The reader is expected to want to improve their lot, & that is exactly what this book can do for you.
Positive and inspiring - By: Stelios Charalambos, 04 Oct 2008
This Cosmic Ordering guide by Stephen Richards is the perfect antidote to modern living. It brilliantly explains the concepts of cosmic ordering so that the reader can easily understand & absorb the importance of communicating with the cosmos to make powerful changesin their life. As well as featuring the author's tale of success against the odds, I always enjoy reading about a person from a humble background succeeding, it is an inspiring read.
Should definitely be readin partnership with Stephen Richard's Cosmic Ordering Connection: Change Your Life Within Minutes! Together they are a powerful union for developing change. Lovely.
It worked - By: L. A. MARTIN, 28 Aug 2008
I was seriously sceptical but open minded before I read this book. I have to say I found it worked!! Up to now, everything I have asked for has materialised but it does not happen by magic. It takes time, perseverence & dedication to the cause.
It is an easy & interesting read, not at all difficult to follow.
Whether you call it cosmic ordering, wishful thinking, praying - it has certainly worked for me.
Oooops... - By: Chris Taylor, 08 Aug 2008
I guess you have to be a 'believer'in these kind of things first. What a load of nonsensical fragmented ideas about how to lead your life. Maybe there's an orderin the cosmos, it sure isn't to be foundin this book.
