The impact gets greater with each re-reading - By: , 29 Aug 2003
This compact volume is one of the most valuable books I have ever read. The material that it covers is very densely packed, & works on many, many levels at once - any given passage can (and will!) resonate on mental, physical, spiritual, emotional & psychological levels all at once. Since your priorities & states of mind change as time passes, your perceptions & understanding of the material will change as well, so please take Dr Chopra's advice & read a section daily. I have been reading the entire book every day for a year now, & it still offers new insights & lessons every day.
Start your day with a dose of Chopra, & set your mind for a day of graceful, successful abundance!
Dip into this book regularly and see your life improve - By: , 30 Nov 2001
This is an inspiring book that deserves to be refered to again & again.
Because this book is extremely concentrated Dr Deepak Chopra suggests it is read through once & then to read 5 pages on a daily basis as a lifelong habit. His promise is that wealthin all its forms will then follow you.
In his a-z of clearly laid out steps to gaining affluence he explains such diverse things as why it is not necessary to judge people or things as good or bad, that luxury is our natural state, as well as why we should exultin the success of our competitors & enemies & much, much more...
This book is clearly not only for creating affluencein our lives but for fulfilmentin all areas of our lives as well. It shows why Dr Chopra is a world-renowned leaderin the field of human potential.
I predict that life will get better for you if you take to heart even some of the suggestionsin this excellent book.
The guide for transforming abundance to affluence. - By: , 21 Jul 1999
This book changed my life by awakening my understanding that affluence is just another form of abundance. All of us have abundance - whether it be an abundance of plants, relatives, friends, seashells - whatever! Furthermore,in the universe there is no inherent difference of value between gold & lead or any other element. Therefore, if you have an abundance of anything you can create an abundance of money, because money is a relative concept. Worked for me! I loved this book because it changed my perception of money without changing my values or beliefs & then changed me from an impoverished single mother to one who is quite comfortable. There were, it is true, other factors, but this book was a very major influence. Another way of thinking of it is from Maharishi Maharesh who responded to the question of where money would come for a new project by saying, "Why, from wherever it is now!" Try it.
Nothing here to get excited about - By: , 17 Mar 1999
Deepak Chopra remains an enigma to me. Some of his tapes have been quite good producing many useful & interesting insights. Others, such as this tape say absolutely nothing. I have always had difficulty deciding if Chopra is a sage for our age or a charlatan feeding off of & helping to create the current alternative mind, body, spirit movement. After reading the positive reviews given this book/tape I ordered it with great hope, but after listening to it four separate times (he suggest listening to it daily) I can not find one thing new, inovative, insightful or anything that is of much help at all. I listened so many times because I felt that I must be missing something. I wasn't!! Advice stating to find what you were meant to do & do it well doesn't exactly excite one to action especially when this statement is as far as this concept goes. No helpin how to do this. Or try on such statements as we are all here to make everyone happy, or such gems as always go first classin everything & the world will reward you, or my personal favorite-make alot of money then spend it all or give it to friends, family & your children because you must keep money flowing. So many statements with no rational from which they came. I read somewhere that Hemmingway was capable of writing the most magnificent books such as "For Whom the Bell Tolls" when he wasin great form but when drinking & needing money he would turn out such books as "The Green Hills of Africa" for quick money & to capitalize on his reputation. Don't know if this is true of Hemminway but this work is Chopra's "Green Hills of Africa." (Not suggesting he drinks because I am sure he doesn't--but I do believe he has some works of lesser importance-or no importance) Avoid this tape!
