Got this for my 2 year old & he totally loves it - some really fun songs on this & the Pelicans beak has him laughing for ages. For this price it's an absolute bargain. There is talking but it's with children laughing etc which he also loves, I would guess that it's aimed more for toddlers than babies. Definitely the best of the CD's we've bought so far.
2 Year Old Loves It! - By: kirst81, 19 Jul 2010 Previously bought the Wheels On The Bus CD when my daughter was around 18mths old & it was an instant hit (and played to death) so decided we needed an alternative to prevent the constant repetition of one CD! Was unsure of Incy Wincy Spider when first played as there is alot more talking, stories, tongue twisters etc & didn't know if it would hold my daughter's attention (she is now 2yrs old). She loves it & after several plays it is a popular as the other CD.
The whole theme of the CD is about the visiting the zoo & the animals you can see although not sure this is made clear on the title / cover of the CD.

This is ok for the price. Songs are rather long & the narration seems to be little more than padding. I thought this was for pre-schoolers but I would rate this for a higher age group. Wouldn't pay any more. I expected a CD more like Wheels on the Bus which was excellent.
Great sing-a-long stuff - By: Peej Maybe, 05 Jul 2010 Absolutely essential for long car journeys, the BBC audio nursery rhyme CDs arein a class of their own. Incy Wincy Spider & other tales are sung & toldin fine style. The only possible annoyance is the male presenter's voice, which sounds like someone singing through a toilet roll tube some of the time.

I purchased this CD for my 2 & a half year old daughter. She loves listening to all the songs & the animals sounds & often asks for it! The voices of the kids & singers are nice, not annoying like on most children's CDs. Happy with purchase.
