Very Cheap, Very Good - By: Sid Roberts, 10 Sep 2008
I guess what struck me first about this book is the weight & feel of the pages. It feels like an expensive book built to last. Fantastic!

It's Karl Pilkington's second book and, although I haven't read the first, I can say that this one is absolute gold. Pilkington's blinkered view on life makes for entertaining reading & his antics prove true to how you know him from podcast/radio shows. There are a few extracts from the diary that have already been read on the podcast but they are very fewin number & still pack a punch the second time round. It's also a good light read & I'm trying to avoid reading it all at once.

If I had to gripe, I would have to say about the slang scattered aroundin this book ("cos", "me mam") but because it's Karl, it's OK.

For those that haven't listened to the podcast, I should warn that this book won't make sensein the slightest & you'll be confused as to it's existence. Listen to the podcasts, understand Karl's humour & then read the book.
The man's a genius... and he doesn't know it! - By: E. Payne, 28 Aug 2008
I can't believe this has got any negative reviews. I bought it to take on holiday & it's the perfect holiday read. Had mein stitches, going "Oh my God - that's happened to me!" Karl is a genius - yet he rather modestly doesn't seem to be aware of it. It's a great book to dipin & out of, but I read it cover to coverin a day... just wish it had been longer! Will leave it on my bookshelf & dust it off to re-read the next time I jet off.
Roundy Manc - By: Mr. R. Thakrar, 15 Jun 2008
Listen, the NME podcast wasn't enough. No monkey news, no diary> Karl needs to commit to something regular. Sort it out Karl, dancing aroundin a hairy outfit on a grown up show is all well & good but its not a full use of your tallents. Sort it out!
who is karl pilkington ? - By: Mr. A. Gray, 01 May 2008

One of the funniest books i've ever read - By: Mr. C. P. Gracey, 14 Apr 2008
This book is brilliant, karl is basically the worst philosipher on the planet earth, & his head is similarily shaped to the planet earth aswell. its often his digressionsin the book which are the funniest, he can't seem to stay on one topic for too long before he's off on a hilarious rant. If you've never even heard of him you should definately give this book a read. & do some more podcasts you bald manc git!
