This is a fantastic book for anyone who is learning to play guitar. It covers different aspects of guitar into one brilliant lesson by lesson format. It is full of wonderful illustrations to keep the reader interested & a book anyone must have if learning, as it covers both chords & notes from scratch. I found it easy to use & understand as well as a pleasure to read. A must for all young guitarists!

The system & style of the book is correctly designed to provide beginners the correct amount of technique & material to keep them enagaged during the first year or so of learning. Book 2 develops the guitar technique & increases the range whilst still focussing on the notes within the first 4 frets. Chords & learning to read notation are both covered.
