Just brilliant. LaVey has done it again. "The Satanic Witch" for me is about empowering women, philosophy & life as a female. If you need inspiration & empowerment then this book is worth reading...whether you are a Santanist or not. This book is for real women. Not barbie dolls. "The Satanic witch" is about embracing yourself & your power as a woman. There's no denial here.
supersexy fun - By: Seyton, 28 Feb 2008 A book with a genuine, hard bitten, sense of humour you probably wouldn't exopect from LaVey nor the church of satan. Also serves as a good cultural treatise, & basically advises you to use your best assets to get what you're after, as well as how to "case" people. Very evocative of the burlesque scene, I found, & real fun. My favourite summary - & its cheif "moral" lesson- comes from Peggy Nadramia's intro, which I'm paraphrasing: you can have MORE fun, not less.

This stuff works - By: , 18 May 2005 It is quite hilarious to see the reviews written by the pathetic 'white witches' who claim themselves to be true witches! as LaVey himself says, what's the use is being able to read tea leaves if you can't get a man? I studied wicca before Satanism, & it will come as a shock to many wiccans that most proper Pagans find you repulsive!
This stuff works. I got my current boyfriend merely from wearing stockings & soiled knickers so you mite as well stop spending money on wasted trees & herbs & get this! This isn't for barbie dolls, but true women! put your crystals away & accept the true power of feminity!

Even for a non-native English language reader, this book is easy & fascinating to read. Maybe his synthesizer clock is rubbish from a scientific point of view but this guy has observed real people & knows something about how men 'tick'. Whether to follow his basic advice (manipulating men) is upon you. Could laso be useful to identify witches besides you. At the end everybody want's to live a lucky life & doesn't want to be destructive. Or do you have a diffrent agenda? Then, you should really read this book.
Not Just For Women! - By: , 10 Jan 2004 In my opinion, &in the opinion of many Church of Satan members, this is Anton LaVey's greatest book. All his main ideas & theories are containedin this book, which is a manual for magical manipulation to aid youin your worldly endeavours. Be warned, Wiccans, Neo-Pagans, Druids & assorted New Agers - this book is not for you! This book is truly one of the most exciting works on Satanism, & there is no wafty New Age fluff here. Through his years of careful observations of the human animal, Anton LaVey has formulated the theories & magical formulas of bewitchment - It is the most useful bookin the world - IF you are brave enough to use it!
Once again, we are indebted to Anton LaVey for sharing his magic with us.
