A must for any coach and player - By: J. L. Gunn, 21 Oct 2002
A great book, as a coach I use it regularly for putting together my lesson plans. There are various drills covering the important situations you will find yourselfin a match ranging from beginner to professional. However any professional drill can easily be simplified & applied to a player of a lesser standard.
As a player, I would describe it as the equivilent of learning the openings of chess or another way is tennis by numbers. Knowing the drills throughly you will know where you put the ball without thinking about it & your opponents likely reply. I'm learning to improve my strategy & have experienced an improvementin my performence
