The best translaton of the Tibetan Book of the Dead - By: , 25 Sep 1999
This is still by far the best translation available of the so called "Tibetan Book of the Dead" or "The Great Liberation by Hearing during the Intermediate State" [between death & rebirth]- & the only translation made under the guidance of an authentic teacher belonging to the Kagyu & Nyingma traditions of Tibetan Buddhism to which this text belongs.
A Great Source of Wisdom and Insight into Tibetan Buddhism - By: , 15 May 1998
Sadly, even amongst some practitioners of other sects & traditions of Buddhism not much is known about the mythology & philosophy of many of the sects & lineages of Tibetan Buddhism. The Venerable Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche released many of the teachings of the Kagyu & Nyingma traditions of Buddhism (into which he had been trained & initiated) to the general public & as a result provided a wonderful source of information to the student, practitioner, & teacher of Buddhism.
