The Killing Joke - By: M. GILL, 06 Jan 2006
Possibly not fully recognised for his sense of humourin his day, this book is one of The Great Beast's best. It contains the beautifully constructed "ONION-PEELINGS", which I can honestly say makes me cry with laughter every time I read it, & even thinking about it causes me to guffaw uncontrollably. If you're a tight-wad & don't want to buy the book just yet, just do a google search on "Onion Peelings" to see what I mean - oh how we laughed outwardly, yet cried inwardly.

Before Paul Reps translation of Zen Koans, there was Crowley - By: , 21 Jul 1999
This is a series of quirky, epigrammatic sayings/poems/stories. To really understand all the little puns & nuances requires an understanding of western qabbala & of Crowley's own highly idiosyncratic occult theories. To really enjoy the book, however, all one needs is that enignma, Common Sense, as rare as it is common.
In short it is a book that speaks to the intuitive side of our nature, while leaving puzzles galore to occupy our intellectual side.
Perhaps one of Crowley's best (if you assume Liber Al was dictated, not written).

I especially liked the talking dog called ben, my favourite part is when ben gets a ball, a big red ball.
A must for the true seeker - By: , 04 May 1999
This book is a source of mystical & magical insight. It also contains a good laugh here & there. It is designed to be a change agent. It is meant to help the readers break out of their little reality boxes & to explore new paradigms. For the bold, knowing, or deluded it contains the key to mysteries. Hooray for Uncle Al!
