A new scripture - By: Bernd Prokop, 18 Jul 2008
Swami Kriyanandas (J. Donald Walters) 31st chapter of his "The Path: One Man's Quest On the Only Path There Is", his autobiographie, begins with the sentences:
"A new Scripture has been born!" Master spoke ecstatically. His commentary on the Bhagavad Gita had been finished. In three months of unbroken dictation he had completed 1,500 pages."
That made me curious & I ordered the book. And indeed, every page of this book is an revelation, easy to read & understand, much more so than other commentaries, e.g. Swami Prabhupadas, I struggled with before.
A truly wonderful commentary - By: James Currie, 29 Mar 2008
As Autobiography of a Yogi sparked a flame inside of me,this commentary on the Bhagavad Gita is without doubt, the best I have ever read.It is full of rich information about creation & our existence.Wonderfully written,I shall treasure this forever.A reference book for living from one of the most enlightened beingsin history.
As a Yoga teacher myself,I would highly recommend!

Best I've Read - By: , 09 Jun 1999
Anyone who is looking for answers to the true reason for their existence will find the answers here. The true nature of the Spirit & the Soul is expounded throughout its eighteen chapters. I believe Paramahansa Yoganada had a direct link to God by his precise use of words, & explaining unambiguously his translation of the Gita.
It's a must read because you owe it to your soul to find its way back to its true home immersedin Spirit.
A Book that's a Guide and a Master for one's true journey - By: , 22 Dec 1998
The one person who always listens, obeys to orders, supports & stays with till the end, never questions back, who has patience all along is oneself. This book opens the door to oneself, gives the necessary encouragement & creates the commitment for what is to be donein one's lifetime. Each & every introspection opens a new view upon looking into oneself more clearly. This one book is more than enough for a lifetime. Please do have the courage to look into oneself, because one day or other one has to face. Like the saying goes "To conquer others is to have power, To conquer oneself is to KNOW THE WAY".
How to know God - By: , 05 Jul 1998
As students of Self-Realization Fellowship teachings, we are cautioned not to direct someone else to God unless we have ourselves reached God. This becomes a challengein itself because the path is so filled with joy that you find you can't contain it. These two books contain information you wouldn't want to live without. Also, there are many footnotes, several of which link the reader to evidence that science is beginning to catch up with religion. How exciting!
