Using these two volumes together produces the ideal training system for those who are serious about the Work.

This collection of magical ritual & exercises is one of the greatest mish-mash of traditions ever brought about. In real victorian style these overblown & bombastic rites will enduce sleep before magical trances. Hinduism, Masonics, Zoroastianism & the the like are mixed with medieval magick & a bungled version of the Qabalah. Leave this nonsense behind & seek something more interesting, real magicans shook off this nonsense in the 1960's. And have gone way beyond this stuff. If you have a Victorian brain then this is for you.

A wealth of information. It assumes a degree of background understanding but, if you can persevere, contains all the information one could conceivably require to enter fully up to the middle levels of Ceremonial Magic. Dense. My only criticism would be that it will remain opaque for many. Yet that would be acceptable to many of those for whom its meaning unfolds. Thus though he reveals many mysteries & rents many veils for those with the eyes to see he also protects the same mysteries from those who would profane them. Love & Light & Lemniscates
unforgettable! - By: , 01 Aug 1999 this book was isreal regardie's biggest mistake & the downfall of the mystical alchemical/hermetic society of the golden dawn.in times past this would have been concidered oath-breaking. he stops somewherein the middle & leaves the system & formulae incomplete, nonetheless, all of you should get it, take it from an initiated adept!
