good information to read - By: , 02 Dec 1998
WINNING RACQUETBALL IS A BOOK THAT MOST PLAYERS WHO PLAY THE GAME WOULD LOVE TO READ. THE BOOK IS VERY INFORMATIVE, AND IT HAS VARIOUS ILLUSTRATIONS TO SHOW THE READER WHAT EXACTLY HE OR SHE MUST DO ON THE RACQUETBALL COURT.FOR EXAMPLE, COURT POSITIONING, WHEN AND WHERE TO HIT THE BALL WHEN PLAYING AGAINST SOMEONE.IRT PRO WOODY CLOUSE DOES NOT SET ANY BARRIERS-LIMITS CONCERNING THE INFORMATION THAT HE WRITES. HE WANTS THE PLAYER TO KNOW HOW THE GAME IS PLAYED,ETC.I'VE BEEN PLAYING RACQUETBALL FOR TWO YEARS,AND WITH THE INFORMATION THAT I READ IN THIS BOOK IMPROVED MY PLAY ALOT. YOU MUST PRACTICE ALOT TO ACHIEVE THE RESULTS THAT YOU WANT AS A RACQUETBALL PLAYER.
Every thing you need to know to win! - By: , 05 Sep 1998
I loved it, I am a 15 year old playing just a year at "b" level, & I really learned a lot. Many things that I never really thought of. The book brought me some new insights on stratagies. I would really recomend it to any one that wants to improve their game.
Good book - but it has unreasonable demands - By: , 06 Nov 1997
This is a very good book for an intermediate player who is looking to take the next step. The drills & exercise techniques are very good, but the amount of time the Author suggests is unreasonable. Use the skills, but use themin the time you have available -- you'll still improve.
A must for any intermediate racquetball player. - By: , 21 Aug 1997
This book offers insights into the details of what is required to become a "total" racquetball player. This book offers detailed discussions on practice drills, exercise routines, nutrition, game strategy, shot selection, & solutions to some common problems. All of which are very concise & are very readable. I do not recommend this book to beginners because there is not much discussion on swing technique.
