As a beginning student of medieval Welsh history & literature, I found the idea of delving into a law text quite intimidating. But Jenkins does an excellent job translating & editing this volume, pulling the most interesting pieces from each of the redactions. His introduction is an excellent overview of the text & a must-read for anyone beginning the laws' rewarding study.
