Everything you could want to teach you about HDR - By: V. L. Marsh, 10 Oct 2008
I bought this book when there were no reviews, so just had to hope for the best, & I was very pleased with my choice.
I'm studying for a foundation degreein professional photography at college & bought the book as I was doing a project on HDR Imaging & needed to master the subject quite quickly, as well as use it for my written research.
The book starts off with loads of in-depth technical information about light & dynamic range, which was great for me, but might seem a bit daunting for some people. Then it tells you how to actually take the HDR image & put it togetherin a variety of different software programs. I prefer to use Adobe Photoshop CS3 but you need to buy the tone-mapping plug-in to get the full effect (it's not very expensive, especially with student discount!). It then talksin depth about tone-mapping & finishes with some case studies.
Allin all, very informative with some (fairly) good images & diagrams. I would recommend it to anybody who would like to learn more about HDR Imaging.
