The definitive guide to Robot Warfare ! - By: , 24 Jul 2000
This is one of the best books on Robot Wars that I have read...it contains just about every conceivable snippet of information on the show; everything from behind the scenes details, the people behind it, the contestants & of course, the robots.
The book looks at how several teams have designed & built their own robots, & shows you exactly what is involved in getting a robot into the contest & the total mayhem that is Robot Wars.
If you want to know how the show is put together, the sheer effort, as well as the triumphs & truamas of all involved, it's all herein this book. A thoroughly enjoyable read for fans of all ages.

WiCkEd cOoL book I really loved the way they was havingin depth interviews with the drivers. House robot schematics were top as well. I took so long to read it & had to read it again & had to once more for all the pictures. Way smart pictures as well of stuff that wasnt even on the telly. As a help to build a robot for the new series it has to be the best way to get a start. Way recommend it, so buy it.
Very good book for robot wars beginners - By: , 24 Feb 1999
Well I at RW & the book is very informative if you are planning a robot as it has help & advice on which direction to take & has snippets of advice from roboteers saying where they went wrong & what they will do next year. A lot of the roboteers from this year are mentioned & if you were at RW it's worth buying just to see your namein print. The pictures are very good & every now & again certain competitors robots are shown which is good. However the worst part of the book is the house robot descriptions & line drawings which are awful & should immediately be ripped out.
