Having based my dissertation on gobal airlines, this book is an excellent tool for background theory. As Hanlon is one of my lectures he assures me that the 3rd edition will be coming out later this year - can't wait!
Great CRS/GDS related information....fine overview - By: , 13 May 1998 I find Global Airlines a 'must' for anybody entering the airline industry. Especially the information given on the various CRS's is a fine tool to help understand why the CRS/GDS world came to be the way it is & why it simply has to change & where it probaly will change to bein the future. I bought this bookin 1996 & it is still a great toolin 1998!
