Though this is called an encyclopaedia, the way the authors write about the subject of Saturday night tv is far from dry & dull. They are brimming over with enthusiasm recalling some of the shows that are deservedly remembered or forgotten. There's just enough detail & background information while also covering an impressive list of shows - with some little gems of information along the way. Recommended.
