I found this book really informative during my aromatherapy course, it has all the information you need including the history of aromatherapy, health & safety issues, plus great diagrams of the plants, & also tasks throughout the book to help you along.
I found this book easy to understand & also 'interesting'in the way it is presented.
Essential study for Level 3 Beauty Therapy students! - By: Pro Beauty Education, 14 Sep 2008 Whilst teaching Level 3 VTCT Aromatherapy; this book was an essential reference guide; providing many opportunities for creating appealing & informative lessons. I recommended this book to my students; & many of them who purchased this book found it invaluable for their studies. It is a methodical & extensive book that covers all aspects of Aromatherapy theoretical knowledge; & the illustrations are exceptionally detailed & specific. I am a particular fan of providing students with mini tests at the end of their lessons. This helps consolidate learning & provides useful feedback to the teacher. This book helps both students & Lecturers tremendouslyin this respect.
Great study aid! - By: L. Paxton, 23 Jun 2007 I'm currently studying aromatherapy & I'm finding this book really useful! It covers all the basic aspects you need to know including the history of essential oils, health & safety, business aspects aswell as covering many essential oils & how to mix them for different ailments.
The best thing about this book is the tasks. There are spaces for you to answer questions & fillin diagrams which I find helps learn things much quicker!
Must for aromatherapy students!

This is a small book, but packed with information. Although not as technical as the Salvatore Battaglia book, it contains almost all the basic information needed for VTCT Aromatherapy assignments.That, & it contains fab diagrams of the plants which can be copied for said assignments!
