I first watched the television version of the book THE HARROGATE SECRET, after enjoying that version i decided i had to read the book, the book is written perfectly & again Catherine Cookson has come up with a very amazing,easy to read,hard to stop reading novel. The storyline typically is setin the north of the country & the main charators are very detailed,i recommend this novel 4 stars because the storyline is very original to her other novels & because it is a amazing portrayal of how life could of been likein that time period.
