Exellent all round book - By: AikiGirl, 30 Dec 2008
This book was used during my shiatsu course, once we had covered some of the basics. It's one I refer to time & time again. I would definitely recommend it. However, I do think the layout could be improved as it's very 'wordy' & maybe the use of different columns or boxes would have helped to highlight important points.
a logical and systematic textbook. - By: , 23 May 2002
Shiatsu-The Complete Guide is well laid out & informative, with particularly clear line drawn illustrations to elucidate technique. The section on Oriental Medicine theory is concise, whilst maintaining an interesting poetic nuance. Overall, this book is a very interesting read as well as a source reference. The appendix on pont function is the best of type I have seen.
Essential for all students of shiatsu - By: , 29 Dec 1999
excellent book that is incredibly useful for first timers & seasoned practitioners. This is one of those rare books that seems to have morein it each time you read it & as you get further with your studies then the book seems to be even more useful that it did at the start of the course.
