A very disapointing read - By: , 30 Aug 2002
I've bought several books on this subject & I have to say that I am very disapointedin this book. It is badly written, waffly, has spelling & grammar mistakes everywhere & apart from detailing a lot of annecdotal stories from people who have contacted Hairline International, offers very little real information.
The relevent info can be communicatedin about 10 pages but this book contains about 240 pages more of waffle.
A better book is "The Bald Truth" by Spencer David Kopren
Interesting, informative with true life examples - By: , 08 Feb 2001
The book starts off with how Elizabeth Steel started with Alopecia. She goes on to describe the different types of hair loss there is & goes through different aspects of treatment, not only with drugs but also with vitamin supplements to. She gives true life stories of how people started to loose their hair & how they overcame & dealt with this problem. She ends with a positive note on how her hair actually grew back again. Allin all a well written book of which some of the advice I have personally started to follow.
