Completely essential medical book for anyone with animals - By: , 16 Dec 2001
Just to put this bookin context. Our existing edition (the second edition) of this book is second hand & is signed on the flyleaf 'Madeline Wright, Xmas 1938'. It is still one of our most frequently used reference booksin our house. We have a cat, two dogs, a horse, two ponies & a small flock of chickens - but even if we simply owned one dog I would still investin this book. It seems amazing that for a nation of animal lovers we still remain largely ignorant of the health of our pets, either rushing to the vet or simply ignoring/not recognising the symtoms. This is the ulimate medical encyclopeadia for furry friends. It is comprehensive, informative & a must have for anyone with pets or animals - & a bargain at the price!

The book gives accurate, up-to-date information useful for veterinarians & pre-vet students. A wonderful reference book.
