A good informative buy for healthcare students, especially those studyingnursing. It helped me through my studies & has gone to be of use to mesince qualifying.

It is easy to read & provides comprehensive information on the theory of health promotion, issues for practice, assessment & places for implemention.
I am now studying MSc Health Promotion & still use this book for reference. I would recommend it for students studying Health Promotion Diploma modules, Community Health District Nursing or Health Visiting Degrees & for student nurses.

The book coversin depth but alsoin a very practical way theories of health promotion & their relationship to practice. It is comprehensive & offers very useful explantions of the models. Dont do health promotion without it.
