Some good recipes that are easy to do at home - By: Travel Queen, 21 Dec 2008
I bought this based on the reviews & I didn't want to buy something that required me to get dozens of weird & wonderful ingredients to make. Some of the recipes were great, i could make them straight away, but 25% of them required a trip to the supermarket & specialist stores to stock up, so not quite as an "express" as I had hoped.
Interesting food for all occasions - By: V. Lizotte, 14 Dec 2008
I like that the food Nigella presents is not limited to a type of meals. Too often "Express" cooking book focus on lunch or dinner. Her book give us options for all occasions, from breakfast to entertaining. It is great & it tastes great!
Quite amazing - By: Sam Wise, 13 Dec 2008
I have been delighted with this book. There are a huge number of well thought out recipes inside. Without compromising on the quality of the food (it really is excellent) - Nigella has produced recipes that canin some cases be knocked up within fifteen minutes.
You can expect, for the most part, food that is several cuts above a weekday meal. However, there are also many wonderful starters, mains & desserts which would delight dinner-party guests. I cannot recommend this highly enough, why slave for hours aspiring to perfection when you can achieve the same resultin thirty minutes?
A great book - By: Kitchenfairy, 03 Dec 2008
I received it yesterday & I'm impressed! There are a lot of very simple, clearly & traceable recipes with beautiful picturesin it. I love all of them. I'm looking forward to cook something from it.
Fantastic Cooking - By: Mrs. G. Huckle, 01 Dec 2008
This is my first Nigella book & certainly won't be my last. My idea of a ready meal is something I've cooked & putin the freezer or something that is quick & simple. Try the Lamb Tagine - my lamb hating daughter loves this & it's so simple. The rocky mountain bars are fab & so easy. I am definitely a Nigella fan - keep up the good work.
