practice today - By: Mr. Michael Domnin, 07 Oct 2002
As soon as I opened this lovely book, I felt the desire to take a piece of string & start practicing. The cable the author uses is a lovely cable. My string is a washline!! Yet, I did use the book for my washline. I bought a new pulley & a hook & a ring. I cut my hanging line, put my new pulley, tied "professional" knots from the book, so now I can hide my wash line, instead of leavingin the open all the time, & take it out when necessary. The knots are solid & fun to work with. What a very useful book! You will love practising those knots, & it may be useful to know thesein your near future even if only to wrap a parcel.Full mark for presentation, for ;lovely step-by-step photos, for good colours & good sound explanations & easy to follow instructions.

Well worth buying this book. A practical guide with lots of colour pictures of detail steps & completed kots. The guide is comprehensive & have 70 different knots, from utility knots, fisherman knots & beautiful decorative knots. I would recommend this to anyone, from a knot hobbiest to a serious outdoor adventurer.
One of the most comprehensive books on Knots anywhere! - By: , 23 Aug 1998
Mario Bigon & Guido Regazzoni have put together one of the finest collections of knotsin print. The many color photos, & use of different colored ropes illustrating the methods used to tie the knots are impressive. Overall, I would classify this book as one of the most comprehensive books on Knots anywhere!
