Most people start out thinking that this book is a joke. It's hilarious, yes, but what you don't realise for a while is that it's funny because it's TRUE. There is a conspiracy, & it's actively trying to stop you from having a good time, from doing what you want, from HAVING SLACK. This book can move you both to uncontrollable, senseless laughter & to abject terror & sorrow. I have never read a book like this before.
