I actually have taken 2 courses with the author & can tell you that his lectures are exactly like his book: outdated, general, non-applicable, & not worth the money. Here is a summary of the bookin one sentence: Cultures are different, & a manager must be sensitive to those differences. -->Duh.
The real problem liesin the fact that the author has no real world business experience. Who would you rather have write a book on international management? a real-world, experienced manager, or an academic stuffedin an office reading about management from books & articles, & then compiling it all into his own book?
Anyways, don't bother with this book.
