the hidden records - By: Cro-Magnon, 06 Mar 2007
Although I enjoyed reading Wayne Herschel Hidden records & found some parts fascinating, I deplore the written style & the difficultyin cross referencing. All pictures should be numbered to avoid statements such as "as you can seein the previous pages..." The book could have been half its size & avoid tedious & repetitive reading. Although I can understand some of Herschel's criticism of well known scholars, he seems to suffer an inferiority complex. He was happy to use their research on the matter to develop his own theories only to belittle them later on. The plugging of his sequel throughout this book is unpleasant, I would have preferred all these revelationsin this one. However, the quality of the pictures is outstanding & some of the information is mind blowing. Definitely worth reading!
Brilliant ! - By: celestine, 19 Jul 2006
If you know your facts, & have done some research of your own, you'll love it. ( Definitely a "must-read" )
I myself have read the "The Orion Mystery"by Robert Bauval, & had to agree that he had something there.- Wayne Herschell & Brigitt Lederer, finally had the courage to go out, & search for something that actually was lyingin front of all of us the whole time. It was staring usin the face, but we were too afraid to admit it!
The layout of the book is easy to follow, & the pictures are the best I've seen so far, compared to other booksin this field.
I would recommend it to anyone who has questions & an interest about ancient civilizations & our history. It's brilliant!
Hidden Records review by N & L KW - By: DN White, 25 Mar 2006
We found this book riveting & a true insight into our likely origins. The time & effort Wayne & Birgit have spent unlocking the secrets & clues to a visit(s) by other life forms far more advanced than ourselves is awe inspiring.
Their correlation of the links between the pyramids & the brighter stars of the Milky Way to form a "star map" are very convincing & show what almost certainly took place thousands of years ago when we seem to have been visited & influenced by beings from outer space.
This is a must read. It is also sure to have the learned scholarsin this field doind a double take or running for shelter.
Amongst the best investigations into our past that we have come across. Well done W & B

Truth Conquers All - By: CL van Egmond, 24 Mar 2006
The Hidden Records, when readin conjunction with certain revealing astrological/astronomical Scriptures from the books of Job, Genesis, Exodus, Revelations & others; particularly the Psalms, of the Holy Bible, with a DEEP UNDERSTANDING of the roots of the Hebrew / Arabic / Sanscrit / Chinese / Greek / Sumerian / Latin / Coptic & Syriac words usedin these texts, reveals the truth. This is a must read for all free-thinking intellectuals.
Money and time well-spent - By: Marilese Koch, 23 Mar 2006
I have bought The Hidden Records three years ago & spent so many enjoyable hours reading & rereading it, researching the claims & comparing the evidence with other authorsin this field - outside mainstream science - & was gratified to see that Wayne's conclusions concur with other authorsin the field; although he worked independently & did not know of the others' similar conclusions - which simply strengthens his case for objective evidence found & interpreted on his own, without relying on the opinions of others. As for arguments for & against the star-map-pyramid-reflection-theory; it is not acceptable to say it must be wrong simply because the mainstream scientists did not come up with it, & to reject it on the basis of 2-dimensional & 4-dimensional correlations seems like so much hair-splitting & prevarication. The general public accept the claims of mainstream science simply because it is based on inter-subjective consensus - therefore on the same basis, we accept the claims of those outside mainstream science as based on another inter-subjective consensus - & comparing star constellations with the structures along the Nile & other ancient sites is very stimulating; makes sense & widens the possibilities. Mainstream science & cosmology is based on conjecture & nice, compact theories that only last as long as the evidence can be made to fit those speculations; & new maverick theories afford the opportunity to broaden the mind & try more possibilities. If Einstein came along with his alternative theory of Relativity & all called out "You are wrong because your presentation style is unorthodox & mainstream scientists are not interestedin you", the world would have been the poorer for it! Actually, I am glad to have read criticism on the book, because that made me realise how well it is written, how it meets the needs of its target readers; & I sympathise with superior intellects who cannot enjoy varietyin style & presentation & who are condemned by their own standards of excellence to only ever appreciate a small amount of the endless variety offered by this diverse world.
