Dissapointing - By: Jonathan C. Busby, 27 Sep 2007
Whilst this book has value it is very poorly presented. For someone operatingin an iLife environment you would expect the publishers to have been creativein terms of how it is viewed. Weighty, lots of words & lacks flow. As a PC switcher I crave simplicity, something this book did not deliver. I would recommend for the new entrant to iMovie & iDVD to try 'The Macintosh iLife06' by Jim Heid which is so easy to read & understand.
Quite simply - it gets you started - By: John Gilson, 17 Jul 2006
Whilst iMovie might not be the most difficult of programs to figure out, this book helps you obtain useful results quickly. The writer approaches the softwarein a real-to- life manner & I have to admit actually enjoying reading this 'manual'. If you want to get started editing your camcorder footage, read this before you move onto Final Cut. (Shame David Pogue hasn't yet written a book about this application as well ;-)
