This is gourmet grilling! - By: Carolyn Humphries, 05 Mar 2008
This book is designed for people who want to be creative with their grill. Anyone can throw on some steaks or chops, close the lid & wait until they're brown & cooked to their liking. This is designed to show how wonderfully versatile a grilling machine can be. It's full of exciting ways of cooking eggs, cheese, meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, fruit & toasted sarnis. It gives you all the basicsin the front, too, but a whole book of that would be pretty boring, wouldn't it?
A Waste of Money , Time and Space. - By: Mr. John J. Haddleton, 25 Jan 2008
This book is a small paperback, not specifically aligned to the George Foreman Grill. It does mention other Grills, however. The contents of the book are aimed at people who want to make exotic dishes, with rare & expensive ingredients. For the ordinary folkin the street the book is useless - I wanted some plain cooking ideas using everyday recipes, giving me timings & temperatures for the grill, not ones that would be made by City Stockbrokers wives for their weekly soirees !!
Sorry to write such a poor review - all other reviews I have written have always given very high praise to the quality of goods supplied by Amazon, & their very efficient systems, ensuring careful packing, excellent trackable deliveries, etc. So please don't think I am one of these folk who continually moan.
To sum up.... Don't buy this book unless you are a gourmet chef, a Stckbrokers or footballers wife! Or perhaps even, the legendary Mrs Bouquet!
Now consigned to my confidential file 13 - the waste paper basket!
