This is the proof that hype & media coverage can turn ANYTHING into a successful product. The text is really unfunny, the drawings are hideous. What's to like about this? Oh, right, Mr. Ricky Smug Gervais is behind it, so it must be good, right? WRONG!

This is two flanimal books combinedin one cd. Ricky gervais is fantastic. Ive listened to this a thousand times & every time I feel like my sides are gonna explode. Ricky is so negative & funny that I think this cd should be givven out to everyone so they all are a part of the glory of flanimals! I cant tell you how good this CD is it is better than the books because you get it read to by the most hilarious man alive, it is so funny that as soon as I saw I did so many chores to get the money I raised itin a day. That said you might not like it but if you dont like it your what we call boring!

This is a useful book for anyone interestedin the process of writing for the theatre. Although many of the writers offered insightful comments, I felt that the structure of the interviews limited the surprises on offer. That is to say, the interviewer (who is the daughter of the Royal Court's founder) asked pretty much the same questions & so a formula developed which, for me, made the book a bit of a plodding read. (Because the saving grace of playwriting is its energy).
Get your kid reading!! - By: S. Begley, 03 Feb 2007 My son was always hard work when it came to reading, he's 9 & books were either too young or too old for him. Then I bought him Flanimals...I am proud to say he now spends hours sitting reading the books (I bought the other two too) & laughing to himself.
If you want your kids to develop a love of reading you've got to get a subject that appeals to them..Flanimals does this by the bucketload!

I have been meaning to get this book for the past few years, now finally I have done! It's hysterically funny, you really need to appreciate silly slapstick humour!
Certainly not just for kids - I'min my 20s & I can't wait to show it to my mum at the weekend, she will love it!
I'm not keen on Gervais as an actor, but as a writer he is fantastic!!
Can't wait to get all the other Flanimals books now!
