so good i'm gonna get the spanish one - By: zorrosowner, 07 Aug 2010 i bought this course 2 years ago when i was going to Rome with friends (i knew no italian), used it again prior to going into the mountains near naples where the locals speak no english, & i managed to talk with the locals about all sorts of things including football, infact my italian was better than my hosts (he'd been married to an italian & visiting italy for many years!) its just so logical. i'm off to spainin 8 weeks time so i'm about to buy the spanish one too.

Excellent for first time Italian! Easy to follow book & CD, picked up basic words & phrasesin less than a week, highly recommend!
Amazing language books - By: K. Galvin, 29 Apr 2010 I can't fault this product. The BBC Talk books with the audio CDs are the best way to start learning a new language. I have also used the Japanese BBC Talk book with CD & they are amazing. This is definatly the book & CD to get to start learning a new language. :)
