An excellent grammar book - By: F. Falcone, 17 Sep 2008
This grammar book is quite bigin size, but it is definitely excellent. Each topic is explainedin detail, chapters are putin a logical order & paragraphs are well spaced, so one doesn't get tired & bored after reading the first pages. It is a must for anyone who wants to keep a grammar reference guide on the bookshelf.
Superb English/EFL Teachers Grammar Reference Book. - By: BS.Dos., 23 Apr 2007
An excellent resource, which all teachers of the English language, EFL or otherwise, should give serious consideration to. Every grammatical point is extensively coveredin detail (514 pages) with each area of grammar being explained expansively & broken downin it's component parts, which further outlines specific teaching points such as construction & use.
The format of the book is also excellent with an abundance of clear sub-headings, which include Key Considerations, What Is..., Consolidation Exercises, & Difficulties For Learners sections. The layout is also good & easy on the reader with large sections of text broken up with tables & bullet pointed lists & examples.
Most serious English language teachers will probably own more than one grammar refrence book, while others, such as new teachers, may only own a single book. Either way, & regardless of which category you should fall into, this book should be given serious consdideration to anyone looking to investin a good quality grammar reference book.
Good for intermediate and above - By: A. Murphy, 01 Aug 2006
A book for those with already a good grasp of english grammar as the language & order does not aim for the beginner. I give up after a few pages when words were thrownin with no prior explanation. A good book but for the already practising & experienced teacher of grammar.
