My kids (8 & 5 year old) enjoy playing with Bionicles & have seen a couple of the films on DVD. It was difficult to follow how all the various characters were connected, that is until we got the encyclopedia. Now the whole Bionicle world makes a lot more sense & the kids enjoy playing with Bionicles even more, & creating their own stories around the "Mask of Life".
