This book never give me what I was expecting of it, am disappointingin that I needed more information & explanationin detail with the practical task from college & the pictures that arein the book there is no need giving pictures that are not fully informationalin terms of labelling. This book aim at people with little or no knowledge of plumbing so it need to give more explanation. I am left at a cross road a lot of times with this book.
It could be much much better.

This is THE book to refer to if you're doing the C&G 6129 course. It leaves nothing out. If you're with OLCI please don't just rely on their own folder it's just not got the info in. This JTL book is clearly set out & really easy to absorb the info.The clear diagrams & explanations don't leave you wondering. Just buy it !
Excellent book for level 2 both 6129 and 6089 - By: J. W. Booth, 05 Sep 2008 Here at PPL Trainingin York we used to use the old JTL Level 2 plumbing book for our City & Guilds NVQ level 2 courses. This lastest book combines both the NVQ side & the tech cert (6129) side, which is a good step forward as BOTH qualifications must be taken to gain a NVQ 2in Plumbing.
The book is clearly laid out with individual chapters on the course structure. Errors from the previous versions have been corrected & along with clear colour diagrams makes this book suitable for both young & old alike. We at PPL train a mixture of age groups & find this book a very valuable reference & learning resource.
IF you are training to be a plumber either at a private college like PPL or a local FE college this is one of the books you MUST buy - excellent.
