Truthful book! - By: SKWATSON, 10 Nov 2008
This book is based on the philosophy of the nature of us all... greedy & selfish to the extent where we will trample on others to get where we want too! It is also based on the principle that if you want to go down the path of Jesus words 'Blessed are the meek' & 'Blessed are the poor' that is as far as you will getin life... poverty weakness & being somebody's door mat!

This book is not about orgys & wild sex as many misinformed bible thumper believe! In fact I have seem more orgies, & adulteryin Christian Churches; than I have readin this spiritual book! It is written based on honest & brutal truth whether you like ir or not we are not nice people even our nice nature comes out of selfishness the desire to be liked or praised!

If you buy this book, it will change the way you think & look at religion & society. Most Christian Evangalist, like benny Hinn, Peter Popoff, are practising true Satanist! They use religion to fill their lust for power & glory. Anton Lavey tells it as it is there is no heaven or hell it is here you create what you want! if you want to suffer then so mote it be you have chosen it. if you want to give money to slick talking Evangelist then so mote it be either way we are all following the principles of Satanism desire of self.

Agnostoc follows that same princpiple everything we do is on the basis of pleasure or we would not do it. There is so muchin this book that it will open your mind forever. If you are being bulled, you need to throw the biblein the bin & buy this book it represent the modern truth of makes us all tick...

Superb - By: Sally Wilton, 31 Aug 2008
In this surprising book replace the word Satanism with Humanism, Free trade, atheism, the law of the jungle, survival, conservativism, self preservation, entrepreneurship, ambition, the natural order of life, honesty, truthfulness, sexual liberation, enjoyment of all the good thingsin life, responsibility to yourself & those who reciprocate your kindness. This is the natural order of things & it is a fantastic book to inspire & encourage what is normal & makes life a pleasure.

Lavay led a colourful life, first & foremost as a musician even having a romance with Marilyn Monroe, immersing himselfin the true Satanism - according to his viewpoint. Even his own son is named Satan.

Chapter 3, verse 7 'Hate your enemies with your whole heart, & if a man smite you on one cheek, smash him on the other! smite him hip & thigh, for self preservation is the highest law! - 'He who turns the other cheek is a cowardly dog' I like that!!! Is Alan Sugar a closet Satanist too I wonder.

It goes on ..........Thus shall you make yourself respectedin all walks of life, & your spirit - your immortal spirit shall live, notin an intangible paradise, butin the brains & sinews of those whose respect you have gained.

This is not a weirdo bookin the usual sense of the word,it does not condone evil actions as certain reviewers seem to believe, it is Brilliant & Lavey was ahead of his time & morein tune with Richard Dawkins, even though he passed away a few years back. If you are genuinely hedonistic, read this.

Apparently... - By: Mr. A. Lane, 24 Jun 2008
Well basically I got this as a present for someone because I knew they'd find it interesting/informative/whatever. So I can't vouch personally for it, but it's supposedly a brilliant read; Neither myself nor the recipient are religious people but this is recommended for anyone that wants to get some information on the subject without any propaganda or other general crap fogging up the facts.
How Much is My Soul Worth Satan?????????????Sold!!!!! - By: Mr England, 11 May 2008
As a proud Heathen (I like the warrior culture of my English/Germanic ancestors) I am extremely Anti-Christian so I had to read this book. I believe that the Jewish/Roman cult of Jesus is the true EVIL that has stolen a great deal from humanity. Therfore I have always had sympathy for the Devil as I have always viewed him as the good guy, wanting us to enjoy the simple pleasuresin life, cursed by the evil Christians to look half man, half goat after the Greek Pagan God of mischieve 'Pan'. Older pagan religions have always had a God of fun and/or sex & the Christians have moulded those traits together into our modern view of the Devil to frighten us away from our true nature to make us easier to manipulate. So I view the Devil has a fun figure & the Christian God as a control freak, denying us the pleasure of life for a slaveryin death.

I would review this book as one guys attempt to tell you how to live your life. It was writtenin Americain the 60's during the 'Hippie Age' & is full of sex & rebelllion. He tells us how to have a 'black mass' which is basically having sex infront of people whilst sticking 2 fingers up at Jesus & society. I found myself agreeing with his preaching but he didnt tell me anything i didnt already know. 'Do what thy wilt' is the biggest messagein the book.

This is not a dark evil book that you would expect, the author whom is the founder of the church of Satan doesnt even care or believein the Devil himself & seems only concerned with weird sex rituals. This is a very small book that is okay to read & does have some very good chapters, but a little boring & preachy at times, but it is probably worth a quick read.
