Our 5 year old son has loved listening to these stories. Dahl is a wonderful story teller & these audio cd's are read by some wonderful characters. Our son has listened to them over & over & will enjoy them long into the future.

Beautifully read by Martin Jarvis. I have never read the book but it is surprisingly long but it kept the attention of my 5 year old daughter, who loved it, & is good for taking up most of a one hour car journey.

fantastic mr fox and other stories - By: Mrs. J. Bryant, 27 Nov 2009 my 4 year old son has been glued to the stereo with these wonderful stories, infact my husband & i want to know whats happening too! it makes a nice relaxed atmosphere when the stories are on. nice not to have TV blaring.
