I like this book because the grammar material is explained perfectly, not very complicated for begginer or intermidiate level students, but covers all necessary rules.
The book is full of grammar exercises with the answer key, which is very important for self-learners.
I advise this book evrybody who is interestedin French language.

Compton Sally, 06 Jun 2010 This is the second book I have of this type, I ordered it because I thought it was a little book I could putin my bag to read while waiting for doctor/dentist, etc. but found it was even bigger than the first one, but once I startedin on it, it is very clear & cleared up a lot of queries I had - I livein France & am often told what good french I speak but I know my grammar is NUL, so am only too grateful for any help available, & this is a GOOD book.
Exactly what I was looking for - By: Paul Laycock, 04 Apr 2010 I'd been getting frustrated by the text books that came with my French course (for one thing, they werein French, for another there was no clear structure to them). This book was exactly what I was looking for, very succinct coverage of French grammar, with plenty of examples, so it works very well as a quick & easy reference guide. Excellent!
Good practice! - By: Elie Kalfon, 29 Dec 2009 I own Practice Makes Perfect along with Smart French & Collins, & I found that the combination was a good one: Easy Learning French (Collins Easy Learning Audio Course) makes you master useful basic sentences, while SmartFrench - Introduction to French, Vol.1 adds great tips on pronunciation to their brilliant explanations of the structure of the french language, & Practice Makes Perfect: Complete French Grammar (Practice Makes Perfect Series) teaches you with excellent exercises . All three are awesome together.
finally.............I understand! - By: Nikki, 21 Nov 2009 I amin an intensive French course where the teacher will only speakin French. However, there are some things that you just can't "get" unless it is explianedin English. I really have found this book to be easy to understand & extremly helpful - well worth it!
