An excellent continuation of the story line, with some very interesting developments. Highly recommended!
My only complaint is that the music that began & ended each chapterin the first three books was not includedin this edition.
loved by me and my son - By: Ms. N. M. Clarke, 12 Jul 2010 This is another amazing fast paced installment of skulduggery pleasant. My son is 11 & absolutely loves these books. I myself have read all of them & enjoyed them start to finish, finding them more originalin places than alot of the same old tired, vampire, zombie etc.., materialin adult books. just remember though if ur child gets easily scared by these sort of things & the idea of dead humans bein either reused or humans being eaten then it is not for them. Can't wait 4 the new onein sept :0)
Dark Days Great Entertainment - By: , 10 Jul 2010 Loved this fourth installment of the Skullduggery Pleasant series. "Dark Days" is definitely a darker book. The villians aren't gods this time around, but men all intent on killing Valkyrie. This makes the stakes more personal. Some great new characters are introduced but we still get our old favorites of Billy Rae & Scapegrace. The Zombie horde is a lot of fun as well!
My only complaint with the book is that for about a minute of dialogue Rupert Degas switched the voices of his characters so that Scapegrace sounded like Springhill Jack & visa versa! Weird! I would have thought the producer would have caught that! But I still think Degas does a phenomenal job with his dramatization.
Dark Days WOW - By: , 28 Jun 2010 I bought this book as I have read the first,second, & third book & thought they were brilliant & I think that the fourth book definitely lived up to my standards. Filled with twists & turns this book is thrilling from start to end. I couldn't put it down!
Skulduggery Pleasant-Dark Days - By: J. Lawson, 27 Jun 2010 I don't know anything about this series of books, as I am not a teenager(!), but I purchased this for my 13 year old grandson, plus the remaining bookin the series he hadn't got, & he loves all of them. Excellent price, & very quick delivery. JFL
