three stars is an average... - By: Giulia Specchi, 26 Oct 2008
Three stars is an average, actually. I give the book five stars. It is inspiring, makes you look at the "Big Food" ( & "Big Health") industryin a totally different (and much wiser) way, & its principles will help you looking after your health even if you don't endorse them completely. The recipes for juices, smoothies, salads & soups are really lovely, & I'm really happy a juicer made it's entrance into my life. The diet, on the other side, gets one star. It made me feel exausted , my muscles ached, & I felt angry (though never hungry, I admit) all the time. I lost two poundsin the first (and last) week (I followed the plan to the letter, & I haven't got a thyroid problem), & so it wasn't even worth suffering. I can lose this amount of weight with a standard balanced 1200 cal. diet. Obviously not everything works for everyone, & this diet is probably great for many people. What is great for all of us, though, is the principle "Look after your body, `cause you've got nowhere else to live".
Simply fantastic! - By: Sara, 24 Oct 2008
Yet again Jason Vale does it. I have many of his books & this is just brilliant. The juices & smoothies are excellent & I love the simple, quick & easy to do soups, especially the pepper/capsicum & cherry tomato one, you can't go wrong with this book!

For me it werent all about losing weight, ive been lucky enough to be slim & athletic all my life.. I did this to introduce healthy eating into my life.. As i am 21 & a keen sports woman, but always failed to be continuesly consistantin my diet.
Im a first time buyer of Jason Vale, & although he does waffle on abit, its a brilliant book with some damn tasty soups, smoothies & juices... highly reckomended!!!! thanks Jason
Fantastic Book....again! - By: Game Girl, 19 Aug 2008
This book is really easy to read, clear & informative. The juicing plan is outlined well & I feel, much better than his previous book 7lbsin 7 days (although I still loved that one!). This plan is more easy to follow & fit into family life. The basic principles are the same; juice/smoothie for breakfast & lunch, & soup for dinner. This then extends after 7 days to a more flexible plan juice/smoothie for breakfast & lunch for 5 days a week then just replace the soup to a healthy meal.
Great!
Best yet! - By: S. Dickens, 25 Jun 2008
I'm a big, although initially reluctant fan of Jason Vale's books. I say reluctant, because like many readers it took me a while to get used to his idiosyncratic writing style. BUT since first reading Slim4Life 2 years ago I've revolutionized my health & dropped 2 dress sizesin the process - without dieting.
This is the Juice Master's best book so far, packed full of inspiration & eye-opening insights, & most importantly, a totally fabulous programme that will have you juicing & eating yourself slim, healthy, energetic & full of bounce - for LIFE!
(And as a small & really unimportant bonus, this one is better written than some of the other books.)
