I bought this book for a friend. As I glanced through the pages, I became absorbed, not that I have any desire to become a painter, although I'm very keen on art. The author has given me great insight. I can now see how these great painters got their desired effect & I can see more depthin the paintings than I did before. Now I am looking forward to visiting art galleries & exhibitions with my newly trained eye. Thank you, Susie Hodge!
